Paris: Art & Antiques Tour
We had an absolute ball on our fall tour to Paris. We loved showing our small group our favorite places in our favorite city.

Scouting in Provence
In October we put the final touches on our 2024 Art & Antiques tour to Provence.

The Tuba Club, Les Goudes
Located on the Mediterranean just outside of Marseille, Tuba Club is one of favorite new restaurants. Fresh fish, fabulous views.

Eating in Japan
Japan offers so many different kinds of food to try…and I enjoyed them all!

Kenroku-en Garden in Kanazawa, Japan
Long considered one of Japan’s top three gardens, Kenroku-en did not disappoint.

Manet - Degas Exhibition
The Met Museum’s blockbuster fall exhibition - an abundance of fabulous works, some famous and less so. Eye opening.

Monastery Saint-Paul de Mausole, St-Remy
After Vincent van Gogh cut off his ear lobe, he checked himself into this asylum. He spent one year here painting some of his most famous works.

Stissing House
One of my favorite meals this year was at Stissing House, a cozy restaurant in an 18th-century tavern. Located in Pine Plains, NY.

Monet's Gardens at Giverny
Yes, the gardens are crowded but they are beautiful, even in September.

Florence Griswold Museum in Lyme, CT
A center of American Impressionism with a lovely cottage garden and a great little art collection.

Hiking in the French Alps
Walking in the shadows in Mont Blanc is never a bad idea.

Tokyo National Museum
A museum that displays the range of Japanese historical art (painted screens, religious sculpture, netsuke, swords, and so much more) in a space that be enjoyed in an hour or two.

Summer in New England
Lobster all day every day. Not quite, but in the summer there’s no place I’d rather be.

Wethersfield Garden, NY
Stunningly beautiful garden in upstate New York.

Hollister House Garden, CT
A must visit if you love English cottage gardens.

Okochi Sanso Garden, Kyoto
Traditional Japanese garden on the estate of a former actor.

Irises at the Nezu Museum, Tokyo
I was lucky to see the irises blooming during a May visit to Japan. The Nezu garden is beautiful anytime of year.

Chastleton House, England
A Jacobean country house that was largely left as-is after the death of the last owner lived here with a myriad of cats.

Rousham House, England
William Kent’s 18th-century garden is a masterpiece.

ANA's "The Room"
The Room is ANA’s (All Nippon Airways) business class. If you going to splurge on airfare to Asia, this is the ticket to book.

Scouting in England
In April we roamed all over southern England putting our 2024 tour together.

Charleston, England
Charleston was the home and studio of Bloomsbury artists Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant.

Sissinghurst, England
Laura is a Vita Sackville-West super fan, and visiting her house and garden at Sissinghurst was pure pleasure.
